Describe your podcast in 2 or 3 sentences

Equity Conversations podcast features real conversations on issues related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and race. The podcast focuses on ideas, tools, and solutions to help make our workplace more equitable and inclusive. It is also a place to celebrate the unique experiences of our diverse communities.

Why did you start this podcast and what do you love about it?

I started this podcast because I wanted a place where I can explore DEI-related topics that aren’t top-of-mind using a platform that is nimble enough to quickly address hot-button issues.

Who is your target audience?

Open-minded people who want to change systems that have historically oppressed people of color and other marginalized communities.

What’s the number 1 thing listeners love about your podcast?

The varied perspectives of the guests.

Are you monetizing this podcast? If so, how?

No, but I would like to learn more about how I can do it, but only with organizations that align with our values.

What advice would you give a new podcaster?

It doesn’t have to be perfect. Be curious.
