Why did you start this podcast and what do you love about it?

I started “Find Your Dream Job” to help job seekers learn the skills they need to have fulfilling careers.

I love learning from our guest experts: career coaches, resume and LinkedIn writers, recruiters, and human resources directors.

Who is your target audience?

People who want to find work that matters and have fulfilling careers.

What’s the number 1 thing listeners love about your podcast?

Our focus on practical, actionable job search tips and the opportunity to learn from career experts from across the United States and the globe.

Are you monetizing this podcast? If so, how?

We have an affiliate relationship with a TopResume, and we also invite selected clients of our job board onto the show.

What advice would you give a new podcaster?

Be clear about why you want to do your show, set a launch date, and check in regularly to make sure your podcast is accomplishing the goals you set for it.

What’s your favorite podcast you listen to?

It’s hard to pick one. I regularly listen to other career advice podcasts and shows about podcasting in order to learn from others and improve my own show.

Anything else people should know about you or your podcast?

I always enjoy learning from other podcasters, and I’m excited to spend the day with other Portlanders who podcast.
