Kerry is a mental health advocate and solopreneur based in Portland, Oregon. He spent over a decade in sales and marketing roles, working with companies like Whole Foods, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Groupon.
When his beer-centric start-up, Taplister, got into a tech incubator, he quit his day job and went all in. Taplister was eventually acquired.

Successfully Depressed is a podcast for Solopreneurs navigating mental and physical health. As a serial entrepreneur, who’s always launching something new, I personally had to deal with my own mental health challenges.
In this podcast, I interview entrepreneurs, counselors, personal trainers, business coaches, start-up founders, and other subject matter experts.
Why did you start this podcast and what do you love about it?
In 2022 I decided to put my experience of being an entrepreneur, dealing with mental health challenges, into a Podcast and Youtube channel (Successfully Depressed) that has the end goal of helping others like me.
I love making connections and learning from others about topics I’m passionate about or are new to me.
Who is your target audience?
Entrepreneurs, but more specifically Solopreneurs or early-stage startups.
What’s the number 1 thing listeners love about your podcast?
The blend of psychology and entrepreneurship
Are you monetizing this podcast? If so, how?
Nope. I’m not monetizing right now.
What advice would you give a new podcaster?
Just start recording. Don’t overthink it.
