David Ames / Graceful Atheist

Here’s our interview with David Ames, the host of the Graceful Atheist podcast.

David is trying to be a “graceful atheist”. After twenty-some years of being a Christian, his faith broke down in 2015. He could no longer sustain belief. Having had faith he still respects and cares for those who remain in their faith. Having lost it, he is interested in finding evidence-based truth. He seeks to examine why some believe, why some don’t, and why some change their minds.

The Graceful Atheist Podcast, explores life after deconstruction and deconversion from the perspective of “secular grace”, recognizing the very human need to experience awe, belonging, connection…and most of all love.

We are trying to be a safe place to land for those questioning, doubting, and deconstructing, as well as those who have embraced secular life for some time.
